Travel & Accommodation:

Below you’ll find all the information on how to get to our wedding location and where to stay.

Getting here:

Our wedding will take place at Monverde located in the Vinho Verde region, in Amarante.

The nearest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), approximately 50 minutes from the venue. From the airport you can rent a car, or use an Uber or taxi service.

Train: For guests travelling from Porto or nearby cities, the closest train station is Caide de Rei, approximately 20 minutes from the venue.

Hotel: We have reserved a block of rooms at 4615 Hotel. Please email (reservas@4615hotel.pt) the hotel and reference “Faith & Deji Wedding” to book your room. Please note that rooms are first come, first serve so we recommend booking at your nearest convenience.

Gift Registry:

Having you at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for, but if you would like to help us make the most of our honeymoon to Japan we have set up a little registry.

FAQs

Should I book my room directly with the hotel?
Yes. Please email (reservas@4615hotel.pt) the hotel and reference “Faith & Deji Wedding”.
When do I have to pay?
Accommodation payment will need to be paid directly to the hotel. If you are attending the pool party/BBQ please transfer €55 per person by 1st February 2025. Please note that payment is non-refundable.

Do we have to attend every event?
Attendance at the welcome drinks and post-wedding pool party/BBQ is completely optional. If your preferences have changed since filling in the RSVP, please contact us as soon as possible.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to venue limitations, this invitation does not include partners or plus-ones unless specified.
How long should I plan to stay?
If you are staying at Monverde, a 3-night stay is required from Friday, 25th July to Sunday, 27th July. If this isn't possible, please contact us, and we can assist with alternative hotel arrangements.
When should I book my flights, and will transportation be provided?
Guests are expected to make their own travel arrangements and can book flights at their convenience. The closest airport is Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), and the venue is a 50 minute Uber/taxi ride from the airport.
Is there a dress code or theme?
Yes, the dress code for the welcome drinks is all-black cocktail attire. For the wedding day, the theme is “Lean into the Landscape,” We've put together an outfit mood board for inspiration! Click here to check it out and get ideas on what to wear for the big day. The dress code for the pool party is elevated casual attire. Feel free to wear swimwear and/or cover-ups - whatever makes you comfortable.
Are there any colours I should avoid?
On the wedding day, please avoid wearing yellow and all-white outfits.
Can guests change their dietary requirements on the day?
Ahead of the wedding, we will request your dietary requirements. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate changes on the day.
Does the venue accept card payments or cash only?
Yes, the venue accepts card payments.
Are you accepting wedding gifts/donations for your honeymoon?
Yes, we plan to provide a wedding gift registry with the option to contribute to our honeymoon.
What should I do if I can’t attend?
If you’re unable to attend, please contact us directly. Please note that accommodation payments are non-refundable.
